Trust & Compliance

Documentation buyers can verify, not just trust.

Every Pavana Global consignment ships with the full regulatory paper trail required by international rice trade. Below is the complete list of certifications we hold or provide on a per-shipment basis.

Active registrations & memberships.

These are the credentials we carry as an organisation. They authorise us to export, certify our compliance with Indian food-safety regulation, and signal our standing with international buyers.

Issued by Government of India

APEDA Registration

Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority — the statutory body under the Ministry of Commerce that authorises the export of scheduled agricultural products from India, including non-basmati rice.

Pavana Global is a registered exporter on the APEDA portal. Registration is mandatory for any party wishing to export rice from India.

Mandatory for export Government of India
Food Safety & Standards Authority of India

FSSAI Compliance

Our procurement and partner mills operate under FSSAI-compliant facilities. This ensures hygiene, sanitation, and food-safety practices meet the standards prescribed by India's national food regulator.

FSSAI compliance covers raw material handling, milling, cleaning, packaging, and storage — the full chain from paddy to packed bag.

Buyer Questions

Frequently asked — certifications & documentation

Is APEDA registration the same as a quality certification?
No. APEDA registration is an export licence issued by the Government of India — it authorises a company to export agricultural products. Quality is certified separately, through per-shipment quality analysis and (optionally) third-party inspection by SGS or Bureau Veritas.
Who issues the phytosanitary certificate?
The Plant Quarantine Department under India's Ministry of Agriculture issues phytosanitary certificates after inspecting the consignment at the port of loading. The certificate confirms the cargo is free of regulated pests and meets the importing country's phytosanitary requirements.
Can you provide certificates required by my specific country?
Yes. We routinely arrange country-specific certifications — for example, halal certification for Gulf markets, EU MRL testing for European buyers, and additional inspections for markets with stricter food-safety regimes. Share your destination and we will confirm the documentation set in our quote.
What if my buyer requires SGS or Bureau Veritas inspection?
We welcome third-party inspection. Buyer-nominated inspection agencies can attend the loading at Kakinada or Krishnapatnam port. Inspection cost is typically to the buyer's account, but we coordinate scheduling and provide all access required.
How quickly can you provide documentation samples for evaluation?
We can share redacted samples of recent phytosanitary, fumigation, and quality analysis certificates within 24 business hours of request. This lets your compliance team review the documentation format before any commercial commitment.
