Common Questions

Buyers usually ask about these.

How quickly will Pavana Global respond to my inquiry?
Within 24 business hours. Every inquiry is reviewed personally — there are no automated responses or call-centre handovers. You will hear from a member of the team, not a generic mailer.
What is the minimum order quantity for rice export?
1 × 20-foot full container load (~22 metric tonnes). We accept trial orders for new buyer relationships. Volume discounts apply from 3+ FCL per month or annual contract commitments.
Do you supply samples before placing an order?
Yes. Courier samples (500g to 2 kg) are dispatched within 3 working days of request. Courier cost is typically shared or to the buyer's account. Sample dispatch does not commit either party to the order.
What payment terms do you accept?
For first-time buyers, 100% Letter of Credit at sight is preferred. For established relationships, Telegraphic Transfer (TT) against documents becomes available. We do not accept open account or post-shipment payment terms — this is a deliberate risk policy.
Which Incoterms do you offer?
FOB out of Kakinada, Krishnapatnam, or Chennai is our default and most competitive term — buyer arranges freight and insurance, we select the loading port per shipment for best vessel availability and cost. CFR and CIF are also available, where we arrange freight (CFR) or both freight and insurance (CIF) to your destination port.
How long is the lead time from order confirmation to shipment?
10–14 days for IR64, 14–21 days for BPT, subject to current stock availability and vessel schedule out of our preferred ports. Private-label printing adds 10–14 days for the first print run only.
Can I visit your operations or audit a mill?
Yes — buyer site visits are welcomed, and we coordinate mill audits on request. Bapatla and surrounding districts are accessible from Hyderabad (~6 hours by road) or Vijayawada (~2 hours by road). Mill audit visits typically combine procurement-belt site inspection and a meeting at our Hyderabad base.
Do you accept third-party pre-shipment inspection?
Yes. Buyer-nominated agencies — SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, Cotecna, or others — can attend the loading. We coordinate scheduling and provide all access. Inspection cost is typically to the buyer's account.
