Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines import Indian IR64 to supplement domestic supplies during lean seasons and for industrial processing. Volume-driven, consistent demand year-round.
Direct from Andhra Pradesh.
Pavana Global sources rice, turmeric, and Guntur dry red chilli from the Krishna-Guntur corridor in Andhra Pradesh. Verified-grade consignments, FOB from Kakinada, Krishnapatnam, or Chennai.
Pavana Global is a Hyderabad-based merchant exporter with deep procurement roots near Bapatla, one of Andhra Pradesh's most productive agricultural corridors. Physical proximity to IR64 and BPT mills, the Guntur chilli APMC market, and the Kadapa turmeric belt gives us a cost and quality position that exporters sourcing from further away cannot easily replicate.
We work directly with milling and processing partners and keep intermediary layers short. Every consignment is checked against spec (moisture, broken percentage, ASTA colour, curcumin) before it leaves the warehouse. The documentation that goes with it is complete, not approximate.
We're a small team and intend to stay that way. Lean overheads mean less margin pressure passed through to buyers. Pricing is clear, quality is what we say it is, and the documentation clears at destination without back-and-forth. Most of our business is repeat orders, which is how we measure if a deal actually worked.
Purity over compromise. If we wouldn't put our name on a consignment, we won't ship it.
IR64 goes to volume buyers and industrial processors. BPT covers premium non-Basmati demand in diaspora and HORECA markets. Guntur chilli moves through food manufacturers and spice blenders. Turmeric fingers are mostly bought by nutraceutical and food-processing operators in Europe, the US, and the Gulf.
India's benchmark non-basmati export variety. Our Andhra-origin IR64 is Sortex-cleaned, moisture-controlled, and available across the full broken spectrum, from 5% for retail and restaurant use, to 100% broken for starch, noodle, and brewery processing.
Known locally as Bangaru Theegalu. Golden Ivy, BPT rice is the crown of Andhra Pradesh's non-basmati harvest. Lightweight, mildly aromatic, and fast-cooking, it occupies the profitable mid-tier between commodity IR64 and premium Basmati.
Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines import Indian IR64 to supplement domestic supplies during lean seasons and for industrial processing. Volume-driven, consistent demand year-round.
IR64 parboiled for the large South Asian expatriate workforce. BPT and Sona Masoori for diaspora retail and HORECA. Guntur chilli (S4 + 334) and AP turmeric (single polished) into Gulf food manufacturing. Four buyer profiles, one origin.
Vietnam imports Indian broken rice for starch manufacturing, noodle production, and brewery use. Lean-season supplementation creates consistent volume buying windows throughout the year.
South Asian diaspora drives BPT demand in UK, Germany, and the US. Nutraceutical buyers in Germany, USA, and Japan are the fastest-growing turmeric segment (double polished + organic). EU MRL-compliant Guntur chilli moves through specialty spice importers.
We buy direct from mills around Bapatla, Guntur, and Kadapa. No intermediaries between crop and container. The handling margin gap shows up in our FOB pricing, which is what buyers tell us matters.
Kakinada, Krishnapatnam, and Chennai. When one is congested, we route through another. Lead times stay realistic and freight stays competitive.
Rice (IR64, BPT), Guntur chilli, and AP turmeric from a single supplier. One relationship, one document flow, one point of contact when something needs attention.
Phytosanitary, fumigation, quality analysis, customs paperwork. All of it, on every shipment. We don't ship without.
Inquiries are read by someone who knows the product and the trade. When a shipment is loading, you get an update without having to ask for one.
